The baby unit should be placed about 1 to 1.5 meters away from the
baby's cot on a flat surface. Never place the baby unit inside the cot, bed or
playpen. Make sure the unit, cords and mains adaptor are out of reach of the
baby and other young children
5.1.2. CONNECTION OF POWER SUPPLY AND USING THE BATTERIES
CAMERA:
This camera unit is designed to be powered by either batteries or the provided
AC/DC adaptors. Remember to connect provided adaptor with Camera for
power supply.
Using the AC/DC adaptor:
· Plug the connector of the AC adaptor
to the socket on the unit.
· Plug the adaptor into a mains socket.
· Switch on the power switch of the unit.
Warning: Improper use of the adaptor may cause malfunction of the units.
Please consult the Miniland technical service for any queries.
Use only the AC adaptors supplied.
Using the Batteries:
· The Camera unit can be powered with Alkaline battery (1.5V 4 x Size AA).
· Unscrew and remove the battery cover located on the bottom of the unit.
· Insert 4 x AA size alkaline batteries (not supplied) in accordance
with the marking on the battery compartment. Replace the
battery cover and secure with the screws.
Please note:
· When the power indicator on the camera unit starts to flash continuously, the
batteries need to be changed. It is advisable to use an AC/DC adaptor (supplied)
for long periods of use.
· Remove the batteries during long periods of non-use.
MONITOR/PHOTO FRAME:
· This monitor unit is designed to be powered by the
provided AC/DC adaptor. Using the AC/DC adaptor:
· Plug the connector of the AC adaptor to the DC power
inlet on the unit.
· Plug the adaptor into a mains socket.
· Switch on the power switch of the unit.
