PROGRAMMING
Adjust the settings of all smoke alarms that are to be connected together at the same address. There are 8
possible coding settings, selectable using a 3-pole DIP switch (1). Each combination represents a different radio
channel.
The MCSMOKE RF has a test button (2) for testing the correct functioning of the smoke alarm. After connection
to the radio module, test all smoke alarms together.
Test procedure:
Press the RESET button (3) on the radio module. The red and green indicators should light once.
Press the TEST button on the smoke alarm and keep it pressed. The smoke alarm that was triggered
will now light, and the red indicator will flash. The red indicator on the radio module will now stay lit
continuously.
Do not release the TEST button, since the radio transmission is performed sequentially. Wait until the alarm
is sounded at all the smoke alarms at the same address. The alarm at the REMOTE smoke alarms will
sound, but the red indicator will not light. The red indicator on the radio module that was triggered will
remain lit continuously .
Release the TEST button on the smoke alarm that was triggered. The red indicator on the radio module
will now stay lit until the RESET button is pressed. All indicators on the REMOTE smoke alarms will now be
switched off automatically.
Identification of the smoke alarm that has been triggered
The smoke alarm that has been triggered can be identified by the red LED indicator staying lit continuously.
