Belts tension adjustment and replacements
Check the belt tension (1) every 50 work hours
or weekly.
To do it:
a) Remove front cover (5a) loosing the four nut
(3 - two upper and two lower).
b) Check the tension pressing the belts (1) at a
point indicated on central point.
The belt clearance must be between 5 mm
and 10 mm.
c) To adjust the clearance, if necessary, move
the motor longitudinally (see arrows aside).
To do it:
- Loose (don't remove) the four nuts (4);
- Loose the nut (5) of the tightener spindles (6);
- Fasten the nut (7), moving the motor as
necessary;
- If adjusted, fasten the nuts (5 and 8);
- Reinstall the cover (2).
Notes:
1- Grease, oil and dust attack the
b e l t s , g e n e r a t i n g p r e m a t u r e
damaging. Therefore, maintain the
belts always very clean.
2- If the belts present drying, peeling
and/ or free fibers, change them
immediately.
