Important Safety Instructions

 Read all instructions before using the unit. Failure to follow all instructions may result in serious injury.
 WARNING – Risk of injury: Do not direct discharge stream at yourself or other persons!!
 Always check the unit, hoses, fittings, etc. before each use. Do not use the unit if it does not operate
properly or has been damaged.
 Do not use with gasoline or any other flammable liquid. Do not operate in explosive atmospheres, such as
in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust.
 If using chemical cleaners, make sure that there is adequate ventilation in the work area.
 Keep bystanders, children, and visitors away while operating this unit.
 Do not use while tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication.
 Do not overreach or stand on unstable support. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
 Wear rubber gloves, rubber boots, goggles or face-shield, etc. Coil Cleaning detergents, chemicals, and
debris may cause injuries to the eyes and skin.
 Call SpeedClean® to check compatibility before using any chemical in the unit - DO NOT use any cleaner
that contains sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide. Do not mix chemicals.
 Use only approved accessories and replacement parts.
 Always turn machine off and relieve pressure in the hose after use.
 Do not run the unit dry – it may damage the pump. Always ensure adequate water supply.
 Do not spray the unit with water or chemicals. Never expose the unit to rain. Store unit indoors.
 Do not allow the unit to freeze or leave in freezing temperatures.
 The unit is equipped with an automatic by-pass valve that recirculates water inside the pump when the
spray gun trigger is released. Although the unit has a thermal discharge valve for protection, avoid leaving
the unit running in by-pass mode for more than five (5) minutes.
 DO NOT ADJUST BYPASS PRESSURE: The bypass pressure is factory set – adjustments may damage unit!

Electrical Precautions

 Make certain that the power source conforms to the requirements of the equipment.
 Keep all connections dry and off the ground. Do not handle the unit or electrical plug with wet hands.
 Unplug the power cord when servicing the unit or leaving the machine unattended
 Do not pull on the power cord or pull the cord around sharp corners. Keep the cord away from hot
surfaces. When unplugging the power cord, grasp the plug – not the cord.
 WARNING: The cords, wires, and/or cables supplied with this product may contain chemicals, including
lead or lead compounds, known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other
reproductive harm. Always wash hands thoroughly after handling the unit.
 GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS: For proper protection this product must be grounded. Always plug the
power cord into a properly grounded receptacle. Never remove the grounding prong from the power cord
plug or use an adapter that eliminates ground.
 GROUND FAULT CIRCUIT INTERRUPTER: This unit is provided with a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter built
into the power cord plug to prevent electrocution. DO NOT RUN THE UNIT WITHOUT THIS DEVICE!! If
replacement of the plug or cord becomes necessary, use only identical replacement parts that include GFCI
protection.
 EXTENSION CORDS: Use only extension cords that are intended for outdoor use. These extension cords are
identified by a marking "Acceptable for use with outdoor appliances; store indoors while not in use." Use
only extension cords having an electrical rating not less than the rating of the product. Do not use
damaged extension cords. Examine extension cord before using and replace if damaged. Do not abuse
extension cord and do not yank on any cord to disconnect. Keep cord away from heat and sharp edges.
Always disconnect the extension cord from the receptacle before disconnecting the product from the
extension cord. Goodway recommends 12 BWG min, 50 ft max length.
Limited Warranty
This unit has been carefully tested and inspected and is warranted to be free from defects in material or
workmanship. This warranty is valid for one year from date of purchase by the original owner. SpeedClean®
will, under this warranty, repair or replace any parts which prove upon examination to be defective.
