Setting up and operating your turntable

1. Remove the unit from all packaging
2. Ensure the unit is on a solid level surface, away
from sources of heat, sunlight, etc.
3. Gently lift the lid all the way open, pull the lower
arm of the lid strut (23) straight and lower the lid
until the latch engages (to close the lid lift the lid
all the way open push the lower arm backwards to
unlatch the strut).
4. Remove all tape holding parts of the turntable in
position.
5. Plug the jack plug from the power adaptor into
the DC IN socket (36) on the back of the
turntable housing then plug the power adaptor
into a three pin mains socket and switch the
socket on.
6. Remove the protective Stylus Guard from the tone
arm cartridge by gently pulling it forwards.

7. Press the power button On (7), adjust the volume
(13) to a low/mid level.
8. Turn the Function knob (6) to the PHONO position.
Care of vinyl records
• Do not touch the record's grooves. Only touch the
record's edges or labels and make sure that your
hands are clean.
• Keep your records away from dust and store in a
dry, cool place.
• Keep your records in sleeves when not in use to
avoid dust and prevent scratches.
Replacing the stylus
Removing the stylus from the cartridge
1. Place a screwdriver between the top of the red
stylus shell and the black holder and push
downwards in the direction "A" as shown above left
2. Remove the stylus shell by pulling it forwards and
pushing downwards.

9. Carefully place a record/disc on the platter/
turntable (25).
10. Select the correct speed for the disc you want to
play (31).
11. Release the tone arm clip (29).
12. Lift the tone arm using the tone arm lever (32)
and place the stylus at the start of the record,
gently lower the tone arm.
13. Turn the volume control knob (13) clockwise to
increase the volume or anti-clockwise to reduce
the volume.
14. If the Auto Stop Switch (30) is turned to ON, the
record will stop playing automatically when the
record finishes playing. If it is set to OFF, the record
will not stop automatically.
15. When the record is finished, lift the Tone Arm Lever
to raise the tone arm and gently move it back to
its rest position and lower the tone arm.
16. When you have finished playing records, engage
the Tone Arm Clip (29) to protect it from
accidental movement. Turn the Power knob to
switch the unit OFF. Unplug it from the power
supply if it is not going to be used for a while.
PLEASE NOTE: If your record stops playing before the
last track finishes, set the Auto Stop Switch (30) to OFF.
Your record will now play to the end, but you will have
to stop the turntable rotation manually.
• Store records upright. Records stored horizontally will
bend and warp.
• Do not store records in the trunk of a car.
• Store records in an area with a stable temperature
and low humidity.
• To clean, gently wipe the surface in a circular
motion using a soft anti-static Cloth.
Replacing the stylus with a replacement
(not supplied)
1. Hold the tip of the stylus shell and insert it by
pushing in direction "B" as above
2. Push the stylus shell upwards in the direction "C"
until it locks into position.
