Playing a CD (compact disc)
Your Turntable is compatible with conventional pre-
recorded audio CD's and properly finalized CD-R and
CD-RW discs.
1. Turn the unit ON by pressing the Power button.
2. Set the Function Knob (6) (PHONO/CD/AUX/
FM/BT) to CD.
3. " CD" will flash for a few seconds in the LED display.
When no disc is loaded "no" will appear on the
display screen. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button (14)
to open the CD tray.
4. Place a disc on the tray with the printed label
facing up. Do not place more than one disc in the
tray at a time. The disc must be placed in the
centre of the disc tray. If the disc is not properly
inserted, it may not be possible to get the disc out
once the tray has closed.
5. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button (14) to close the tray.
Do not force the tray when it is opening and closing.
6. The total number of tracks will appear on the
display screen.
7. The system will start playback automatically after
several seconds, or press the
playback. Disc playback starts from the first track,
the PLAY indicator will illuminate and the track
number will display on the LED display screen.
8. Turn the Volume Knob (13) to adjust the volume.
9. To Pause playback press the
track number will blink on the display screen
press
again to resume playback.
10. Press the
/USB/SD button (2) to stop playback.
Playing a Cassette
1. Turn ON the unit and adjust the volume to a low/
mid level.
2. Turn the Function Knob (6) to TAPE AUX and the
LED display will show "tP"
3. Insert a prerecorded tape into the cassette slot
with the tape side to the right. Push in gently, the
tape will slide into place and begin playing
automatically.
PLEASE NOTE: One end of the cassete will r
emain visible.
4. To fast forward the cassette tape, press the Tape
Control Button* (20) halfway down while the
cassette is playing.
Listening to FM Radio
1. Turn ON the unit (7) and adjust the volume to a
low/mid level.
2. Turn the Function Knob (6) to the RADIO position.
3. Extend/move the FM Aerial (34) to obtain the best
reception.

Program Function
1. In STOP mode, press the PROGRAM (4) Button.
The display will show a flashing "01". Press
(16/15) to select a track and press the PROGRAM
(4) button again to save the track. Press
to select another track and press the PROGRAM
button again. Repeat this step to continue saving
tracks. To play back the programmed tracks, press
the
(17 ) button.
2. To erase the programmed track, press the
SD button twice.
Stand-by function
When your system is in PHONO, CD, USB, SD, AUX,BT
or Cassette mode and has not played audio for 15
minutes it will move to standby mode. Press the
(17 ) button, to restart.
*PLEASE NOTE: When pressing the Tape Control
Button* (20) it's a good idea to hold the turntable
unit in position to prevent it moving.
5. To resume normal playback, release the Tape
Control Button (20).
6. To stop playback, push the Tape Control
Button*(20) fully in. Playback will stop and the
cassette will be eject.
Head Maintenance
The head and tape path should be cleaned and
demagnetized on a regular basis. Use a
cassette tape head cleaner and demagnetiser. For
special details on the proper use of these items, read
each product's User Guide.
