1. Guarantee
We grant you 2-year guarantee on material breakage of original parts from the date of
purchase. Proper use according to the instructions for use is assumed.
2. Safety cautions and danger warnings
The device has been developed for dental use. Initial operation and handling must be con-
ducted according to the instructions for use. The manufacturer does not accept liability
for damages caused by use other than directed or improper handling. The user is also re-
sponsible for confirming that the device is suitable for the intended purpose before use,
particularly if the purpose is not listed in the instructions for use.

3. Product description
The Static Pointer is an instrument to indicate the autonomous chewing stability of the
positioned posterior teeth. This allows preparing the positional stability of the entire
denture. The Static Pointer offers the dental technician a reproducible method to ensure
the position of the posterior teeth on the bone foundation.
Added value is provided by the extremely simple checking of the position of fabricated
dentures and the transferring of patient-specific parameters from the model to the dental
restoration.
3.1 Indication
• Checking autonomous chewing stability
• Using the measuring scale on the base plate, the vestibular extension of the
maxillary anterior teeth in relation to the papilla incisiva is easy to check
• Checking the incisor position in relation to the first palatal fold
• Adopting markings from the bite template, for example, patient center and
position of canine to the master model
• Checking the terminal tooth in relation to the determined positioning stop
• Planning of implant positions in relation to esthetic try-in

4. Installation and initial operation
Remove the parts of the device from the box and check
the scope of delivery. If parts are missing or are damaged,
please contact customer service. We recommend keeping
the packaging for possible shipping purposes.

Place the red horizontal arm (1) in the provided longitu-

dinal hole of the vertical arm (2). The round opening of
the horizontal arm points upwards directly over the milli-
meter scale of the base plate (3). Place the batteries in
the laser pointer and place it in the provided opening (4)
of the red horizontal arm.

To ensure perfect measurement on the base plate of the measurement scale, the laser
point needs to be aligned first with the scale by rotating the laser pointer in the holder.

By loosening the screw in the vertical arm, the horizontal arm can be moved forwards
and backwards in the longitudinal hole.

Position the base of the articulator or the model below the Static Pointer.

Autonomous chewing stability: The laser beam is aligned to the cusps or the fossa. Then
the dentures are removed and it is checked whether the laser point strikes the bone base.
