Open the ski mount on one side of a
SkiWing by pressing the red button.
Set SkiWing onto
Siderails
Set the SkiWing across
the roof of your vehicle
with a Bolt on each side of
the factory installed
siderail.
GENERAL OPERATION
•To close, make sure the lock is in the unlocked
position, then pull the wing down until the latch clicks
securely. Some high camber skis may not allow closure
to the last click, but two clicks are required before it
is completely latched.
Yakima Products ("Yakima") will repair or replace merchandise which proves defective in materials and/or workmanship. The limited warranty is effective for one year from the date of purchase. The
limited warranty is applicable only if the Fit List and instructions are followed and the products are used properly. If a customer believes that a Yakima product is defective, the customer must return it to
an authorized Yakima dealer with proof of purchase. Yakima will then issue authorization to the dealer for the return of these products. If an article is found to be defective upon inspection by Yakima,
Yakima will repair or replace the defective article at its discretion without charge. The customer will pay freight to Yakima, and Yakima will pay any applicable return freight. Unauthorized returns will not
be accepted. Normal wear and tear of Yakima products or damage resulting from misuse, accidents, or alterations are not covered by this Limited Warranty. The purchaser acknowledges that Yakima has
no control over the attachment of its products to vehicles or the attachment of items to the Yakima products. Accordingly, Yakima cannot assume responsibility for any damage to any property arising out
of the improper attachment or use of its products. In addition, this Limited Warranty applies only to Yakima products and not to other products used in conjunction with Yakima products. This Limited
Warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, and does not cover consequential damages of any kind that may arise from the use or misuse of any Yakima product.

Set SkiWings onto
MightyMounts
Set the SkiWings onto a crossbar, lining up the
MightyMounts and the 2 square holes in the
SkiWing. Do the same for the other SkiWing.
Center the SkiWings if necessary.
Pull Rubber Strip
Squeeze the bottom rubber piece
at its base and carefullly pull it up
to expose a part of the Channel
(H) underneath as illustrated. Do
this for both sides of one
SkiWing.
Turn Bolts
into Threaded
Plates

Use the Torx® Wrench (B) to turn
the Bolts into the Threaded Plate
(E). Leave it a bit loose so it will
slide during step 6.
•Always lock your SkiWing
before driving with or
without skis.

Turn Bolt into
T-Nut
Push the T-Nut (D) into the SkiWings Channel and the
MightyMount (G). Then, using the Torx® Wrench, thread
the Short 6mm Torx® Bolt (C) through the SkiWings
Channel, into the MightyMount and T-Nut. Repeat this
process on the other 3 MightyMounts. Tighten securely.

Center the SkiWings.Use the
Torx® Wrench to tighten all
bolts securely.
•To prevent your skis from
shifting in the mount, carry
them bottom to bottom with
tips pointing back.

Drop Bolts in
Insert 2 Long 6mm

Bolts (F) through
each slot.
Reinsert
Rubber
Piece

Reinsert the Rubber piece by
squeezing it at the base and
pushing it down into the Channel
(H) as you roll it from side to
side. Repeat steps 1-7 for the
other SkiWing.
MAINTENANCE:
Apply non-
water suluble
lubricant to
moving parts
often,
especially
after
exposure.
