7. To clean cartridge filter shake or brush off excess dirt.
8. Or rinse (from the inside of the filter) with water. Dry completely (approximately 24
hours).
9. Check the filter for tears or small holes. If none are found, reinstall the filter. To prevent damage to your
vacuum, do not use a filter with a hole or a tear.
CARTRIDGE FILTER CLEANER
(not standard with all models)
WARNING
BEFORE USING THE CARTRIDGE FILTER CLEANER.
ONLY USED FOR DRY PICK UP WITH CARTRIDGE FILTER
To use the built in cartridge filter cleaner:
1. Rotate the cord wrap 180 degrees counter clockwise from original position.
2. Move cartridge filter cleaner handle up and down 2 to 3 times or more if necessary
to clean filter.
3. Place handle in original position and push down on handle ends with thumbs to
secure in place.
4. Rotate rear cord wrap 180 degrees clockwise to return to original position.
NOTE: Cannot use foam sleeve when cartridge filter cleaner is attached to vacuum.
