10 SWITCHING ON SAFELY
The Axiolab 5 microscope is delivered in a partially assembled condition. It can be set up and calibrated
by the customer himself or through the ZEISS service.

SWITCHING ON SAFELY
• Connect
(4 8 6 H F ig. 4/1) with its power cord to an electrical
outlet.
• Switch the microscope on using the main switch
(Fig. 5/1) on the left side of the stand.
• If available, select the transmitted or reflected
light illuminator by pushing the TL or RL
button.
