2.3 STOP
The system can be stopped as follows:
TEMPORARILY
• Disconnect the power socket and activate the by-pass.
• Disconnect the connection pipes.
• Empty the salt water tank and wash it internally.
• Clean the softener and store it in a dry, weather-proof and exclusively accessible place (do not leave it within the reach
of children or unauthorised persons).
CONCLUSIVELY
In addition to temporary decommissioning the operations, the following are also planned:
• Pack the machine with cardboard, polystyrene or other materials and inform the appropriate personnel (authorised
waste disposal or used take-back).

Avoid the penetration of water into parts of the system during periods of inactivity to avoid the risk of short circuits or malfunctions.
IN CASE OF EMERGENCY / DANGER THE SYSTEM CAN BE STOPPED:
1. By disconnecting the power supply unit;
2. By activating the by-pass.
This will immediately stop the system.
2.4 RESTARTING AFTER LONG PERIODS OF INACTIVITY
• Always have a qualified and specialised technician check that the system has maintained at the original degree of
protection of the electrical equipment.
• Connect the power supply unit to the machine and check that the timer is working.
• Slowly open the water inlet valve and then start forced regeneration.
• Place 10 litres of lukewarm water and 50 ml of Amuchina in the salt container.
• Wait for the end of regeneration (not before two and a half hours), then open the water outlet valve and close the bypass
valve.
