4.2 ORDINARY MAINTENANCE

It is recommended that any breakage or damage to the enclosures and electrical equipment be repaired immediately.
INTERVENTION PRIOR TO STARTING:
• General visual inspection (evident deformation or breakage of structures, protections, etc.);
• Checking the condition of the power supply cable.
The softener does not require any kind of routine maintenance but only the control and restoration of the salt consumed and
the time corresponds to that set.
It is important to check the softener periodically in order to safeguard the efficiency of the connected appliances.
This assistance consists in checking the hardness of the water and the inlet and outlet flow rates, the correct execution of
the work phases as well as the conditions of the resins and, if necessary, replacing them.

4.3 PERIODIC CHECKS

AFTER THE FIRST 6-12 MONTHS, THEN EVERY 6-12 MONTHS:
It is recommended to clean the salt container by carrying out the following operations:
1. Remove any salt left on the bottom;
2. Clean the walls of the container of any mud or muddy deposits and dry salt;
3. Wash several times with running water using an Amuchina type disinfectant and a sponge;
4. Rinse again, add water as much as before and then add salt.
It is recommended to periodically clean the washable cartridge of the pre-filter by removing the impurities deposited in the
bottom and on the wall of the cartridge itself.
It is sufficient to wash with running water.
