5. Install hitch – Using tape, secure the flat washer ③ at front attachment holes on frame rails, see Figure 1. Using pull wires ⑥ feed carriage bolts ① and spacers
② into the vehicle frame rails through the access holes, see Figure 1 & 5. Leave pull wires attached. Raise the hitch and feed pull wire previously installed through
hitch bracket slot. Remove pull wires and loosely install conical washer ④ and hex nut ⑤ to hitch, see Figure 1.
6. Tighten all ½"-13 Gr 5 fasteners with torque wrench to 75 Ft.Lb. (102 N*M).
7. Reinstall exhaust – Raise exhaust back into position.

Proper torque is needed to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.
