Auto–adjusting of the heating curve
A room unit is required. The Adjusting function learns automatically
what the ideal heating curve is, on the basis of the room temperatu-
re, the type of building and the heat requirements. The differential
value of the previous day's room temperature is evaluated every day
at midnight and this evaluation leads to an automatic adjustment of
the heating curve. The slope and/or the parallel shifting of the hea-
ting curve are modified according to the attenuated external tempe-
rature.
However, when you wish to disable the curve's auto–adjusting you
only need to set parameter n° 71 on 0.

Maximum limit of delivery temperature (Tvmax)
This function avoids excessive delivery temperatures.
If the setpoint value required by the heating circuit reaches the maxi-
mum limit and the external temperature sinks, the temperature set-
point will be kept on that limit, that is, it can't exceed it. In floor instal-
lations the limit is set at about 40 °C.

Maximum spark advance of ignition optimum control
During the non–engagement time periods, the heating is kept at the
reduced level.
Toward the end of the non–engagement time period, the optimization
function switches the control to the normal level.
The regulator calculates automatically, thanks to its adjusting capabi-
lity, the optimum switching time, which ensures that at the beginning
of the engagement time period the room temperature has reached
the nominal setpoint value. Parameter n° 73 is the maximum limit
value for this pre–ignition time.

Maximum spark advance of pre–switching–off
optimum control
During the engagement time periods, the heating is kept at the nomi-
nal level.
Toward the end of the engagement time period, the control switches
towards the normal level.
Thanks to its adjusting capability, the regulator automatically calcula-
tes the optimum switching time, which ensures that at the end of the
engagement time period the room temperature equals the nominal
setpoint value. Parameter n° 74 is the maximum limit for this
pre–switching–off time.

The A.C.S. settings are active only when the regulator is connected to
a boiler card. Therefore, in the I4 installation only the A.C.S. settings
of the Zone 1 regulator are valid.

A.C.S. Operative mode
The preparation of sanitary hot water (A.C.S.) can be enabled or disa-
bled independently of the heating. The setting is effective only if the
regulator is connected to the boiler electronic card.
a) Push the line selection button to select line 12.
b) Push the + / – buttons to enable or disable the .A.C.S. prepara-
tion.

Reduced setpoint value of A.C.S. temperature
The "Reduced setpoint value of A.C.S. temperature" guarantees a
minimum A.C.S. temperature outside the preparation time periods
(the parameter is of the INSTALLATORE type). The A.C.S. timer swit-
ches automatically from the "comfort" time period to the "reduced".
Refer to Parameter n° 81 for setting the switching time for the A.C.S.
switching program.
Enter the INSTALLATORE mode and:
a) Push the line selection button to select line 80.
b) Push the + / – buttons to adjust the reduced setpoint value of
the A.C.S. temperature.
