-Your new equipment is designed to be used by engineers, technicians and

- Each of the test positions is quickly and easily selected with a simple turn of the
CY
range adjuster knob.
- Periodically wipe the cover with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive liquids or
CMY
solvents.

-Before opening the cover, make sure that the test leads are not connected to any
circuit.
-To avoid electric shock or damage to the Meter, do not use near wet places.
Remove the measuring tips before removing the cover.
-If you use this equipment in an environment with a strong electromagnetic radio
frequency, you may notice the accuracy of the measurements.
- Never apply voltage or current to the meter that exceeds the maximum measure-
ment specifications.
- Never connect the test leads of the meter to a voltage source, when the function
selector is on the scale of: current, resistance or diode test.
-If the multimeter is used near equipment that generates noise, the display may
become unstable or indicate errors.
