- Check the level of fluid in the tank at least twice a year
CHECKING THE HYDRAULIC FLUID LEVEL
IMPORTANT: the maximum quantity of hydraulic fluid contained in this jack is 1.4 L. Compatible fluid: ATF DEXRON IID
Please follow the steps listed here to check the hydraulic fluid level:
1. Bleed off the air (see procedure in the next section)
2. Position the jack, with its pistons lowered, in the horizontal position
3. Unscrew the screw

4. If no hydraulic fluid comes out once the screw has been unscrewed, the level is too low. Top up the fluid in this case.
The level must be at the height of the small bolt on the side of the tank.
5. If hydraulic fluid does come out, let the excess quantity drain off until the correct level is reached (see point 4).
