Cables are not intended to be removed or replaced
while the M Waterproof Battery is submerged. If the
cable accidentally detaches during water use, remove
the M Waterproof Battery from the water and shake
excess water from the case prior to reconnecting the
cable. Wipe the battery case with a soft, lint-free cloth
and air dry overnight.
To prevent damage to accessories compatible with
the sound processor (e.g., Listening Check, Phonak
Roger devices, Phonak RemoteControl), it is important
to cease use prior to engaging in activities in or
near water. Once in a dry environment, the recipient
may resume use of the accessories with the sound
processor in the M Waterproof Battery.
To avoid an increased risk of strangulation, do not use
cables longer than 81cm (32 inches) for young children.
Although electromagnetic emissions of the M
Waterproof Battery have been confirmed within safe
limits, some other devices could be sensitive to such
emissions. If you notice other devices do not behave
as expected when your M Waterproof Battery is nearby,
separate the devices.
In the event that you experience any issues with your
product, please contact your cochlear implant profes-
sional or the manufacturer. Do not attempt to service
or modify the Naída CI M, Sky CI M, or its accessories.
Doing so may compromise system performance and
will void the manufacturer's warranty. Products should
be serviced only at Advanced Bionics and damaged
products should be returned to Advanced Bionics.
