110. Firmly press the shifter cover (1) to the shifter knob
(2).
111. Connect the negative battery cable.
PROGRAMMING THE WIN
NOTE: The wiTECH software level must be at the latest release to perform this procedure.
NOTE: On vehicles equipped with the Sentry Key Immobilizer System (SKIS), when the Wireless Ignition Node
(WIN) is replaced with a new unit, a diagnostic scan tool MUST be used to initialize the new WIN and to program
at least two Sentry Key FOBIK transponders before the vehicle can be operated.
CAUTION: Read all notes and cautions for programming procedures.
NOTE: Have the vehicle PIN readily available before running the routine
CAUTION: If the PCM and WIN are replaced at the same time, the PCM MUST be programmed before the WIN.
NOTE: If the vehicle is equipped with "Key N Go" push button ignition, the PEM Module Programming procedure
must be performed in addition to this procedure.
1. Connect a battery charger to the vehicle.
2. With the wiTECH diagnostic application, perform the following steps:
• Select "WIRELESS CONTROL MODULE (WCM)"
• Select the "MISCELLANEOUS FUNCTIONS" tab
• Highlight "WIN REPLACED"
• Select the "Start Misc Function" button
• Select "NEXT"
• Enter the PIN when prompted.
• Select "NEXT"
• Verify that the PIN number is correct
• Once verified select "NEXT"
• Select "NEXT"
• Note On­Screen instructions and select the "FINISH" button
• Cycle ignition key after the successful routine completion.
