6.7 Parameter configuration
In order the measurements are precise, it's necessary to configure and calibrate
the conductivity meter.
6.7.1 Sensor constant configuration.
Every conductivity sensor is marked by its «constant» value. (For instance 0.998).
The sensor «constant» must be entered in the conductivity meter as for conductivi-
ty, TDS or salinity measurement.
The sensor constant configuration has two phases:
•
Enter the «constant» nominal value: (0.01; 0.1; 1; 5; 10)
(By following the example, the nominal value is 1)
•
Adjust this constant to the sensor marked value.
(By following the example, the marked value is 0.998)
The procedure is as follows:
•
Push «MODE». The equipment changes to configuration mode.
•
Push «
/C/T/S» or «

•
Push «ENTER». The constant current value will appear.
•
Push «

Push «ENTER» to accept the start. (ADJS will appear)
•
Push «
/C/T/S» or «

6.7.2 TDS transfer coefficient configuration.
This coefficient is only needed to measure TDS .
It's not necessary to measure conductivity nor salinity.
The procedure is as follows:
•
With the equipment set up to measure TDS. (TDS on the lower left corner)
•
Push «MODE». The equipment changes to configuration mode.
•
Push «
/C/T/S» or «

Push «ENTER». The coefficient current value will appear.

Push «ENTER» to accept the entry. (TCOE will appear)
6.7.3 Temperature coefficient configuration.
This is the coefficient which has to be entered in the conductivity meter to measu-
re conductivity and TDS.
The procedure is as follows:

With the equipment set up to measure conductivity or TDS.

Push «MODE». The equipment changes to configuration mode.
