INSTRUCTIONS
WINDING CROWN
The winding crown is used to manually wind the
watch (position 1), to set the date (position 2) and to
set the time (position 3).
WINDING
Your watch incorporates a self-winding movement.
The movements of your wrist set a centrifugal mass
in motion; this tensions the mainspring, which stores
the energy. When you take off your fully wound
watch, it will continue to run for at least 35 hours.
When it has stopped after depleting the power
reserve, it can be rewound by hand (about 10 clock-
wise turns of the crown).

SETTING THE TIME

To set the time, gently pull the crown all the way
out to position 3 and move the hands in either
direction. Once you have set the correct time, push
the crown home again. When you turn the hands
clockwise beyond midnight, the calendar displays
will advance as well. We advise against turning the
hands counterclockwise across midnight because
this would require a correction of the date, the day
of the week and the week number; however, it would
not damage the calendar mechanism.
8
Your watch has a stop-seconds mechanism that halts
the second hand as soon as you pull the crown out
to position 2. This allows you to synchronize your
watch with an acoustic time signal to one-second
accuracy. As soon as you push the crown home (posi-
tion 1), the second hand will start running again.
Note: If your watch has stopped running, first move the
hands clockwise until they pass 12 o'clock and the date
advances by one day (at midnight). Then set the correct
time. If it is past noon, move the hands forward beyond
12 o'clock again.
