8 Activation of sector 1 or sector 2 surveillance mode
The use of the sector surveillance modes is generally reserved for professional
installations.
Before putting a sector into surveillance mode, the user must always check that the
various doors and windows monitored in the sector concerned are properly closed. The
user must then type the sequence on the keypad:
Surveillance of sector 1:
The activation of the sector 1 surveillance mode is carried out using one of the three
codes of sector 1.
If the system is inactive, the green indicator light (7) goes out and the red
indicator light (8) flashes,
If the installation is already partially under surveillance, the red indicator light (8)
does not change state,
If the option has been programmed, the siren and/or the intercom system output
two audible beeps,
The "Sector 1" symbol (e) lights up.
Surveillance of sector 2:
The activation of the sector 2 surveillance mode is carried out using one of the three
codes of sector 2.
If the system is inactive, the green indicator light (7) goes out and the red
indicator light (8) flashes,
If the installation is already partially under surveillance, the red indicator light (8)
does not change state,
If the option has been programmed, the siren and/or the intercom system output
two audible beeps,
The "Sector 2" symbol (f) lights up.
Note 1: In the same way as for the activation of total surveillance, the exit time delay is
accompanied by an audible signal and, if a sensor is in alarm mode (open), the user can
force the system into surveillance mode or isolate the loop which is in alarm mode.
Note 2: If the option has been programmed, the control unit sends partial surveillance
activation information to the call centre.
If the control unit is equipped with the radio option, and if the equipment is
appropriate, the activation of partial surveillance can be carried out by means of a
remote control handset or a radio keypad. If the control unit detects an anomaly,
the system refuses to activate surveillance.
