NOTE: Confirm housing is compatible with
RA4 LED module. A listing of the most common

1. Remove mounting bracket and plate from inside
existing recessed housing (if installed).
2. Remove socket from plate (if installed).
3. Screw Edison base adapter (G) into existing Edison
base socket in housing (Fig. 5).
4. Plug orange connector on RA4 LED module (A)
into the orange connector on the screw base
adapter (G).
5. Align wires on each side of orange connectors with
the slots in the LED splice box (F). Close box and
snap shut.
6. Squeeze the friction blades together as shown and
install into recessed housing (Fig. 6).
7. Carefully route wires into fixture and push module
up flush to ceiling surface.

SERIES LED (non-screw base) HOUSINGS
NOTE: Compliant with California Title 24 High Efficacy
luminaires, Washington State Energy Code and
International Energy Conservation Code.
1. Plug module into Halo recessed fixture connector
(Fig. 6).
2. Squeeze friction blades together and install into
recessed housing.
3. Carefully route wires into fixture and push module
up flush to ceiling surface.
NOTE: LED splice box (G) is not required with
H995 housings.
REPLACING LED MODULE
1. With fingertips, pull down firmly on trim ring until
module is removed from the housing.
2. Disconnect LED module wiring from recessed can
(LED connector or screw-in Edison base).
3. Remove ground wire from housing.

purchaser of the product. A purchaser's receipt or other proof of date of original purchase
acceptable to Cooper Lighting. This is required before warranty performance shall be rendered.
This warranty does not apply to Cooper Lighting products that have been altered or repaired or
that have been subjected to neglect, abuse, misuse or accident (including shipping damages).
