STEP 5
Install 1/4" Plastic Tubing for Water Supply Line from
System Head Outlet to Faucet

Determine the length of 1/4" Plastic Tubing
Stem. Make sure to allow enough Plastic Tubing to prevent kinking in the line.

Cut the 1/4" Plastic Tubing squarely on both ends with a utility knife, making sure not to crimp the Plastic Tubing during cutting.

Wet one end of the 1/4" Plastic Tubing with water and push it into the System Head Outlet until it stops.

Gently slide the plastic Compression Nut down
that the Ferrule is in the proper position with the end opening on the bottom (going into the nut). Place the plastic Insert
the end of the 1/4" Plastic Tubing.
5 Firmly push the 1/4" Plastic Tubing into the end of the threaded Faucet Stem. Hand-tighten the plastic Compression Nut onto the
threads. Tighten with an adjustable wrench approximately 1/2 turn.
NOTE: Do not bend or crimp 1/4" Plastic Tubing when inserting. Do not over tighten the Compression Nut.
STEP 6
Install the QuickTwist
NOTE: When viewing the QuickTwist™ System Head from the front, the QuickTwist™ 1st Stage Filter should be positioned on the left side (inlet
side) and the QuickTwist™ 2nd Stage Filter should be positioned on the right side (outlet side).

Hold each QuickTwist Filter
™
toward the back of the QuickTwist

out to each side. See Figure 6

Lift each QuickTwist ™ Filter straight up into the System Head
flanges on top of the QuickTwist

Turn each QuickTwist ™ Filter left to right until it stops.

that will be necessary to connect the System Head Outlet to the threaded Faucet

(thread side up) over the tubing. Follow with the plastic Ferrule
™ Filters
with the label facing to the left slightly. The two nozzles on top of each QuickTwist
™ Filter. If holding properly, the two extended flanges on top of the QuickTwist
at right.
