HANGING THE
The handset runs on a consumer-replaceable nickel cadmium battery pack.
If you experience any of the following problems, you may need to replace
the battery pack:
• Short talk time
• Limited range
Make sure phone is OFF before you replace battery.
1. Slide open
the battery
compartment
door.
5. Replace and
plug in the new
battery pack.
(use GE BT-12
replacement
battery.)

• Poor sound quality
• CHARGE/IN USE light fails to light

2. Unhook the strap
holding the
battery in place.
6. Reconnect
the strap to
secure the
battery.
Plug
3. Pull out the
battery plug.
7. Replace the
battery
compartment
door.
4. Remove the
battery pack.
