COUNTERWEIGHT INSTRUCTIONS (CONT.)
Counterweight Instructions for Weighing a Patient 425 - 450 (lb)
1. When a patient weighs between 425 - 450 lb, place the lower poise weight at 250 lb.
2. Place the 150 lb (55060) counterweight on the 5
and 200 lb value.
3. Adjust the upper poise weight to match the patient weight. The poise bar will center in the
trig-loop.
4. Read and record the weight. To read the patient's weight, add the weight value indicated on
the upper and lower poise bars, as well as an additional 150 lb. See page 13 for a
counterweight conversion chart.
Counterweight Instructions for Weighing a Patient 451 - 500 (lb)
1. When a patient weighs between 451 - 500 lb, place the lower poise weight at 300 lb.
2. Place the 150 lb (55060) counterweight on the 5
and 200 lb value.
3. Adjust the upper poise weight to match the patient weight. The poise bar will center in the
trig-loop.
4. Read and record the weight. To read the patient's weight, add the weight value indicated on
the upper and lower poise bars, as well as an additional 150 lb. See page 13 for a
counterweight conversion chart.
