INSTRUCTION MANUAL
1.
The products supplied are non-sterile. It is essential to follow the cleaning, disinfecting and
sterilising stages before first use or reuse (see our recommendations in our current sterilisation
cleaning protocol), in accordance with the ISO 17664 standard.
2.
Dispose of damaged or low efficiency products
3.
The responsibility for the sterilisation of products prior to first use and reuse lies with the user.
4.
For your safety, we recommend the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) - for example:
gloves, eye protection
5.
Only use disinfectants with proven efficiency (EU labelling, FDA approved, DGHM / VAH list ...)
including the one in our current sterilisation cleaning protocol and follow it.
6.
Open the blister packs in which the devices are contained, clean, disinfect, rinse and dry with a
washer-disinfector. (Ensure compliance according to the current EN ISO 15833-1 and follow the
manufacturer's instruction manual). After drying, place the devices in pouches for sterilisation.
(Ensure compliance with the current EN ISO 11607-1 standard)
7.
Sterilise according to the prion program (134 ° C for 18 minutes) in an autoclave. (Ensure
compliance according to the current standard NF EN 13060 + A1 and follow the manufacturer's
instruction manual)
8.
When sterilising multiple devices during a single autoclave cycle, be sure not to exceed its
maximum load. Avoid sterilising devices of different material in the same load.
9.
Keep sterilised devices in a cool, clean, dry place
1. Access cavity:
Before using NiTiShaper, create an access cavity to make canal openings easily visible, to allow
instrument access without dentinal interference, and to ensure proper canal irrigation throughout
the treatment.
For this operation we recommend using GATES drills, a round steel cutter or the THOMAS
ENDOPONER.
Use these products carefully, to avoid pricking your finger.
2. Exploration of the canal:
Explore the canal using a K manual stainless steel file. We recommend using a K ISO 10 file or
an ISO 12 Canal Probe (Thomas). Irrigate and introduce the file into the canal by applying an
alternating rotation movement.
This step is very important to establish the working length and the permeability of the canal using
a small K file (ISO 10 to ISO 15 max). The rigidity of manual stainless steel files helps to
negotiate blockages and calcifications.
This step will facilitate the penetration of other instruments.
Use these products carefully, to avoid injury to fingers.
1.
Introduce in turn, the first NiTiShaper device "T1" with the white ring. Apply light pressure
combined with brushing movements. You can reach the working length
• Rotation speed: 300 to 500 rpm
• Couple: 3N.cm to 4N.cm
2.
Clean and irrigate the canal (See "Exploring the canal", above).
1.
Introduce in turn, the first NiTiShaper device "T2" with the red ring. Apply light pressure
