To Adjust Blade Tracking

This band saw is equipped with an adjustable blade
tracking mechanism. When properly adjusted: the back
edge of the blade will run lightly against at least one of the
back-up rollers, but will not press heavily against the
roller. If the blade fails to track correctly, adjust as follows:
WARNING
DISCONNECT SAW FROM POWER SOURCE.
1. Use a

/
" wrench to loosen the adjustment locking nut

(See Figure 12), by turning it counter-clockwise, one
or two turns.
2. Use a flat screwdriver to turn the tracking screw
turn. Turning the screw CLOCKWISE will move the
blade further up, toward the blade guide rollers.
Turning the screw COUNTERCLOCKWISE will move
the blade down, away from the blade guide rollers.
