Enter the 14-digit number printed on the SIM
card itself or on a card enclosed in the pack-
aging. The card is normally enabled within
two working days. Once the card is enabled,
the annual fee for using the vrnetDIALOG 830
communication unit is automatically deducted
from your account (see the general terms and
conditions). You cannot make use of Vaillant
services until this fee is paid.

The modem box is equipped with two LEDs
indicators for installation.

Green LED:
Off: No connection to the GSM/
GPRS provider, or the ana-
logue telephone line was not
found
Flashes
every 2 s.: Poor connection to the GSM/
GPRS provider
Flashes
1x per s.: Good connection to the
GSM/GPRS provider
Always on: Very good connection to the
GSM/GPRS provider, or the
analogue telephone line was
detected
Red LED:
Always on: Error detected that has yet
to be transmitted to the
server
Always off: No error or the error has
already been transmitted
Flashing: Data transfer to the server
