Danger!
Risk of injury and material damage due to
improper transport
The screwed connections on the support
rim may become loose if stored in an angled
position. The buffer cylinder may tip over
from the pallet and injure someone.
▶
Transport the product on the pallet using a
pallet truck to the installation site.
▶
If the product needs to be tilted for the
transport (e.g. on a staircase), remove the
product from the pallet before doing so.
1.
Transport the product to the installation site.
2.
Carefully remove the protective sleeve.
–
Retain the protective case. The protective sleeve is
pulled over the buffer cylinder again after the heat
insulation has been installed.
3.
Remove the screwed connections from the support
ring.
4.
Lift the product from the pallet.
5.
Transport the heat insulation and the cover strips to the
buffer cylinder.
4.4
Unpacking and setting up the product
1.
Carefully remove the protective film from the product
without damaging the anti-rust paint.
2.
Install the product at the installation site. In doing so,
observe the connection dimensions and the minimum
clearances.
3.
Align the buffer cylinder vertically.
4.5
Preparing the piping
1.
Install the purging valve on the buffer cylinder.
Caution.
Material damage due to leaking heating
water
Heating water may leak from connections
that are not being used and are not sealed.
▶
Seal the connections that are not used
with tightly sealed caps before attaching
the heat insulation.
2.
Seal any connections that are not required.

Buffer cylinder
Caution.
Material damage due to low temperatures
Risk of the heat insulation breaking at tem-
peratures below 10 °C.
▶
Only process the heat insulation at a room
temperature of >10 °C .
▶
Wait until the heat insulation has adapted
to the room temperature.
1.
Remove the heat insulation from the packaging.
2.
Tilt the cylinder slightly and clamp in the lower heat
insulation below the mounting foot.
3.
Install all required temperature sensors onto the re-
spective sensor straps (→ Basic hydraulic diagrams in
the appendix).
Caution.
Material damage due to leaking heating
water
Heating water may leak from connections
that are not being used and are not sealed.
▶
Seal the connections that are not used
with tightly sealed caps before attaching
the heat insulation.
