2.3.2 Direct access in case of electrical failure
The lines will be connected directly to the specials extensions automatically
when there is an electrical failure.
The line 1 will be connected to the extension 601, the line 2 to the extension
602, the line 3 to the extension 603 and so on. From the moment of the
electrical failure, you can only use the fi rst three extensions like a normal
telephone.
For example, when somebody calls through the line number 1 during a
electrical failure, the extension 601 will begin to ring, and only can pick up
the handset from this extension.

3. SYSTEM PROGRAMMING

3.1 Before programming
All the programming must be carried out on the extensions 601, 602, 603
or 604.
All the extensions must have a dual telephone with multi-frequency.
At the end of the process press #. You don't have to hang up in case of
some error, just press * to restart.
If you wish to program a extension (601,602,603,604) that be in
Direct-Dialing-Out mode, you will need to restart (pressing *) to get into the
internal system and begin programming.
When the setting has concluded, a long beep will indicate that the setting
was successful and kept in the system. If you listen shorts beeps, the system
is indicating that there is an error during confi guration. You need to go out
and restart the system. After you hear long beeps you can continue with the
next operation.
You must use the command "enable lines" before to use the PBX,
because if you don't do it, the system won't recognize a line (In the default
setting the status is disabled).
