4.7 3-way conference (1 phone line and 2 extensions)
-Format: Press the switch hook (or press the FLASH button) + * + the
extension number.
-Description: Allows you to add an extension to a conversation and make a
3-way conference. You can have only two extensions to a telephone line.
Example: Extension 605 is talking to the telephone line and want to transfer
the call to extension 607. So the extension 605, 607 and the phone line can
talk at once.
Talk
1. There are two cases to be followed after a call is transferred from A to B.
a) A and B still does not hang up your handset. Communication mode
between A, B and the telephone line is established, anyone who hangs
(A or B) the system will transfer the external call to the other extension.
b) A and B hangs yet fails to answer to in less than 25 seconds. If
extension B to A does not answer within 25 seconds, then the
connection is restored to the telephone line and B will stop ringing.
2. The extension which transferred the call takes 5 seconds to dial the
required extension number. Otherwise the incoming call will return to the
original extension.
