2. Pull the fuse holder out of the power entry module. A slotted
screwdriver may be used to assist in removing the fuse holder.
Replace the fuse with another of the same type and rating. Refer to
the fuse label on the rear panel (see Figure 5-12 through Figure 5-
15).
3. Install the new fuse in the fuse holder.
Reinsert the fuse holder in the power input module taking care to
install it in the correct orientation.
12. PRODUCT DISPOSAL
After use, dispose of product and packaging in accordance with hospital,
administrative and/or local, state, federal and international laws and
regulations. Please see section 13 for AtriCure return policy.
13. REPAIR AND RETURN POLICY
AtriCure is responsible for the safety, reliability and performance of the
ESU only under the following circumstances:
•
Persons authorized by AtriCure has performed assembly, operation,
readjustments, modifications or repairs.
•
Equipment use is only in accordance with AtriCure Instructions for
use.
•
The electrical installation of the room complies with the local and
regulatory requirements, such as IEC, etc.
•
Equipment is to be disposed of or recycled in accordance with local
laws.
Please note that infected medical devices must be decontaminated or
properly disposed of as medical/biohazard waste.
Before returning the unit, call your AtriCure account representative for
assistance. If instructed to return the unit to AtriCure, please obtain a
Return Material Authorization number from AtriCure Customer Service.
Then clean the Unit and package securely to ensure proper protection of
unit. Please record the Returned Material Authorization number on the
outside of the container.
Repackaging the ESU
When the ESU requires service or transfer to other location, use the
original shipping carton and packing materials to repack and ship the
ESU. For shipping, disconnect all accessories, and place the ESU and
power cord in the locations reserved for the items in the carton.
