PROBLEMS
Failure in brine suction
An excessive quantity of brine is fed
into the tub
Salt consumption not corresponding to
what is foreseen
Intermittent or irregular brine suction
After regeneration water has not been
softened
Excessive or insufficient capacity of the
counter washing
After regeneration water comes out into
the output pipe of the brine tub
Water softener ELETTRONIC with AUTOTROL digital head logix
Insufficient input pressure
Output pipe blocked
Obstructed injector
Damaged injector
Valve 2 blocked in the open position
Valve line not sealed
Valve 1 remains open
The input speed has not been checked
Valve 2 remains open during suction
Air suction in the connection pipe to
the tub
The brine suction pipe does not draw
from the bottom of the softener
Incorrect set up
Insufficient input pressure
Detective injector
Softener does not regenerate
Salt shortage in the tub
Valve 4 is kept too open by the mixing
screw which is too tight
By pass valve open
Wrong type of regulator
Obstructed regulator
Valves 5 and 6 remain open if water
comes out from the output pipe
Valve 1 remains open if water comes
out from the salt container
CAUSES SOLUTIONS
Make sure there are at least 1,4 bar
Make sure the output is free
Clean injector
Replace
Remove blocking
Replace all the clapet series
Open the valve manually to remove
impurities
Dismantle and clean the brine regulator
Open the valve manually to remove
impurities and reinforce it with a second
spring
Check the fittings and the pipe
Restore the final lower part of the light
blue pipe with bottom filter to the
softener
Reset
Make sure there are at least 1,4 bar
Replace injector
Restart regeneration identifying the
reason (see previous points)
Refill salt in the tub
Check and ad just the mixing screw
Close by pass valve
Replace
Remove and clean
Activate them manually to remove
impurities
