The RPM of the electric fan can be continuously regulated by potentiometer
depending on the air volume requirements.
▪
The selected setting can be read off at any time on the integral 7-segment
display (adjustment range 0 – 100%).
▪
Note: The motor takes a few seconds to reach the desired RPM due to the
integrated start-up current limiter.
▪
The electronics of the fan are factory set to ensure optimum performance and
safe start-up of electric motors. The electronics should never be tampered
with.

5.3 Inclination adjustment

All fans of the FANERGY series come equipped with a continuous inclination
nozzle adjustment.
▪
To release the locking device, press the red pushbutton located on the left
side of the frame.
▪
The fan unit can be adjusted continuously from about -7° to +20° by means
of the handgrip located at the top of the fan housing.
▪
After releasing the pushbutton the fan unit is locked and remains stable in the
set position.
5.4 Operation
▪
Pull slowly on the manual recoil starter. Listen for scraping sounds between
the fan blades and the housing. If scraping sounds can be heard do not put
the unit into operation.
▪
Use the inclination adjustment to set the fan to the neutral position (vertical).
▪
Only start the motor if the fan is situated in a stable and upright position.
▪
The fan should not move from the spot when it is standing on level ground,
with the motor running at full speed.
▪
Should the fan move, the stand should be inspected for damage and replaced
if necessary. Please notify the responsible Rosenbauer sales office if this does
not rectify the problem.
▪
Stop the fan immediately if mechanical noises, vibrations or other unusual
conditions occur.
▪
Set the airflow to the desired output by using the throttle control (units with
combustion motor) or knob (units with electric motor).
