The appliance is supplied without the connection cable.
In the event that it has to be substituted, proceed as follows:
Disconnect the power supply.
- Remove the back panel
- Disconnect the cable from the junction-box situated at the back.
- Loosen the cable blocker and pull out the cable..
- Push the connection cable through the cable blocker, connect the conductor wires to the corresponding terminals in the
junction box and fix them into place.
- Block the cable with the cable blocker, and reassemble the back panel. The earth wire must be longer than the others
so that if the cable blocker should break, it will disconnect after the tension wires.
N.B. The connection cable must have the following characteristics: it must be at least type H05 RN-F (resistant to
a temperature of at least 150°), and must have an adequate section for the power of the appliance (see technical
data table).
The appliance must be connected to an equipotential system. The connection screw is positioned at the back of the
appliance and is identified by the

Before using the appliance for the first time it must be thoroughly cleaned, paying particular attention to the pan (see the
paragraph "Cleaning and maintenance"). Check all the connections then start the appliance as per instructions.
Attention:
Never leave the working appliance unattended!
Check to ensure that the drip tray (B) is in place. Switch on at the mains. For double appliances, mod. FT...-66ET, FT...-
68ET... and FT...-610ET..., it is possible to use half of the hotplate or to use the two halves simultaneously at different
temperatures. Turn knob (A) from (O) to the position required between 50°C and 300°C. Warning lights (C) and (D)
will illuminate. The warning light (D) illuminates when the appliance is live. The warning light (C) illuminates when
the heating element is on. This warning light goes off when the element has reached the required temperature. To turn
off the appliance, turn knob (A) to position (O).
When the fry-top is in use it is advisable to clean the hotplate and remove any food particles by means of spatula or a
damp cloth.
Attention: The cutting and sharping utensils damage the chromed plate.

-Keep in mind that during use of the glass ceramic top the temperature of the glass surface increases considerably and
therefore act accordingly
