Tips on how to save
energy
S Install the appliance in an adequately
ventilated room and ensure that it is not
exposed to direct sunlight or placed
next to a source of heat (radiator, etc.). If
necessary fit an insulating panel
between the two.
S Allow food to cool down before placing
it in the appliance.
S Put frozen food into the main refrigerator
section to thaw out. By so doing you will
be utilizing the low temperature of the
frozen products to cool the food in the
refrigerator.
S A layer of ice impairs the transfer of cold
to the frozen products and increases
power consumption. Remove the
build up of ice at regular intervals.
S Do not keep the main door or the
freezer compartment door open longer
than necessary.
S Make sure the freezer compartment
door is closed at all times. You should
be able to hear it snap shut.
