IMPORTANT REMARKS

1. The Innotek® Spray Commander® is not a toy. Keep it away from the reach of children. Use it only
for its training purpose.
2. The Innotek® Spray Commander® must be used only on healthy dogs. We recommend that you
take your dog to a veterinarian before using the Innotek® Spray Commander® if he is not in good
health.
3. The receiver collar is waterproof. It is however recommended to keep device away from water as
much as possible. Note that the remote control handle is not waterproof.
4. Keep the device clean at all times. Simply use a dry cloth to wipe away dirt.
5. Do not leave your device unattended where your dog could get a hold of it and damage it through
chewing.
6. Always make sure that the batteries you are using are still adequate to operate the device. The
device requires 6-volt alkaline batteries, easily available from Innotek®.
7. Never fill the device with any other substance than the one provided by Innotek®. Using another
substance, as well as opening the device, will void the manufacturer's warranty.
8. If your dog tries to take off the device, a harness can be used instead of the collar provided in the kit.
9. The hypo-allergenic spray can is a pressurized container. Do not pierce it, heat it or dispose of it in a
fire as it may explode. Please read instructions on the can.
10. Do not expose the device neither to freezing temperatures nor to conditions warmer than
113°F/45°C. Be particularly careful not to leave the device in direct sunlight, either by a window or
in a car on a summer day, etc.
11. Do not attempt to repair the device yourself. This will invalidate the warranty and make repairing
more difficult. If the device doesn't work, please contact our Customer Care Center (Centre).
The device is activated by radio signals sent by the Innotek® Spray Commander® remote control.
The strength of the signal may be affected by environmental conditions, topological features and
electromagnetic interference.
This being a radio frequency device, battery consumption can be elevated.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

If you have problems with your Innotek® Spray Commander® Remote Control System:
1. Make sure that both the device (receiver collar) and the transmitter (remote) have the same ID
number (01 to 08) (ex. R912 ID 03 for the receiver, and T912 03 for the transmitter).
2. Place a new battery into the receiver collar. Fill the device, then turn it on.
3. Press button 1 on the remote control; the receiver collar should emit a beep.
4. Press buttons 2 and 3; the receiver collar should release a small spray (button 2), and a large one
(button 3). If nothing happens when pressing buttons 1, 2 or 3, there may be a problem with either
the transmitter or the receiver circuits.
5. If any of the 3 buttons produces a reaction in the receiver collar, then the transmitter is working.
6. However, if no spray is released with buttons 2 and 3, but button 1 activates the sound signal, then
the batteries could be low, or the device may not be filled properly. If all is fine in both cases, then
there could be a problem with the spraying mechanism on the receiver collar.
7. If both spray buttons work, but no sound signal can be heard when pressing button 1, then the
piezo buzzer may be faulty.
8. If the device doesn't seem to hold its contents, or gas can be heard leaking from the collar, please
contact our Customer Care Center (Centre).
If you experience any of the above mentioned problems, please contact our Customer Care Center (Centre).
