The sequence for adjusting the swing phase of the knee joint with factory
setting is as follows:
1. Reduce flexion resistance (F) by turning the valve screw counterclockwise,
until the prosthetic heel stroke corresponds to the heel stroke of the other
foot. To decrease the heel stroke, turn the valve screw clockwise.
2. To adjust the timing of the prosthesis swinging to the front in accordance
with the other leg, increase the extension resistance (E) by turning the
valve screw clockwise. To allow quick swinging of the prosthesis to the
front, turn the valve screw counterclockwise.
