Attention!
The knee joint 3A1800 KINEGEN.air-active must never be
exposed to corrosive chemicals or media such as e.g. salt- and
fresh water, acids, dust or sand! All claims against Streifeneder
ortho.production are null and void, if this provision is
disobeyed. Please inform the prosthesis wearer accordingly!

8 Use

The knee joint 3A1800 KINEGEN.air-active requires qualified and individual
adaption to the patient according to medical indication. All adjustments
must be done by qualified professional staff.

8.1 Restriction of use

Because of the customisation and for hygienic reasons, we have to point out
that the product is to be used only by one patient and must not be given to
any other patient.
Attention!
We are pointing out, that the knee joint
3A1800 KINEGEN.air-active has been tested and approved only
in combination with all other Streifeneder modular parts.

8.2 Misuse of Product

The knee joint 3A1800 KINEGEN.air-active has been constructed exclusively
for activity levels (walky) 2 – 3 and is approved only for max. body weight,
including carried and supported loads of up to 125 kg / 275 lbs. It is not
suitable for sportive activities such as jumping, running, e. g.

8.3 Period of use

The knee joint 3A1800 KINEGEN.air-active has been tested according to
ISO standard 10328 for 3 million load cycles. Depending on activity of the
prosthesis wearer, this complies with a period of use of 3 to 5 years.
