REAR STABILIZER ARM
• Rear stabilizer arm supports hand truck in incline position for ease of use. Stabilizer arm has two positions: stowed
and deployed. In stowed position, stabilizer arm is folded up into frame to minimize overall footprint. In deployed
position, stabilizer arm is folded down so load is carried on two drive wheels and on rear caster wheel.
Stowed Position
DEPLOYING AND STOWING STABILIZER ARM
1.
From stowed position, pull detent pin out of stowed hole, and push arm downward until fully extended.
2. Align detent pin and place into deployed hole (may be necessary to move arm up and down slightly to align pin
through all three plates).
3. Ensure detent pin is fully inserted with safety clip properly secured before putting any load on stabilizer arm.
4. To stow stabilizer arm, reverse above process.
WARNING! Never operate unit without pin securely placed in either hole.
