8 - PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
WARNING:
Please stop engine before servicing and unplug all
appliances.
Exhaust contains poisonous carbon monoxide vapour.
BE SURE to operate maintenance at ventilated environment.
Please use authentic parts or high quality parts to replace.
Bad quality parts may destroy generators.
WARNING: Use protective gloves for the following operations.
1. SPARK PLUG (PER 50H OR PER ONE MONTH) (PIC. 10)
1.1 Remove the pipette gently.
1.2 Remove spark plug.
1.3 Remove carbon deposits.
1.4 Check for discoloration.
Standard: Tan color
1.5 Check spark plug gap.
Standard: 0,7 ~ 0,8 mm.
1.6 If it is worn up, replace the spark plug with another one
having the same features.
Spark plug type: BOSCH W9DC
1.7 On re-inserting the spark plug, make sure you will insert
it properly. Avoid tightening too firmly.
Rearrange the pipette.
9 - PERIODIC MAINTENANCE CHART

10 - STORAGE
If the generator is not to be used or is to be stored for more than one month, follow these instructions:
1. Drain all the fuel from the fuel tank and the carburetor.
2. Shake the tank till all the excess being drain off.
3. Remove spark plug and fill cylinder with a spoon of fresh oil, and start engine for a few times to distribute oil, then reassemble spark
plug.
4. Store the generator set in a dry, well ventilated place, under a cover.
THE INSTALLATION AND MAJOR REPAIR WORK SHALL BE CARRIED OUT ONLY BY SPECIFICALLY TRAINED PERSONNEL.
2. AIR FILTER (PER 50H OR PER ONE MONTH) (PIC. 11)
2.1 Remove the protection case (fig. 1 item 8) by
unscrewing the two fastening screws.
To remove the case, lift it slightly on the left.
Then extract it.
2.2 Remove air filter.
2.3 Wash clearly in solvent.
2.4 Get Motor oil.
2.5 Squeeze Motor oil out.
2.6 Reassemble the case. Make sure that you will insert
the two tongues (A) into their own seat.
WARNING: Never run engine without the filter.
3. FUEL TANK FILTER (PIC. 12)
3.1 Check the presence of dirt inside the filter in the fuel
tank at regular intervals.
3.2 Clear fuel tank filter.
3.3 Clear in solvent.
3.4 Wipe off.
3.5 Insert into fuel tank.
WARNING: Remember that spent oils, battery fluids and all
the filters of the machine MUST BE DISPOSED OF according
to laws on protection of the environment and current
legislation, as these are polluting products.
