INSTALLATION
INSTALL THE NEW BOWL
S Install the carrier per carrier
manufacturer's instructions.
S Mount toilet per carrier's
instructions.
S Apply gasket for sealing the
bowl to wall. Refer to
instructions packed with the
gasket. All-wax gaskets are not
appropriate for this installation.
S Install flush valve per flush
valve manufacturer's
instructions.
START-UP
S Turn on the water supply.
S Flush and check bowl and
flush valve connections for
leaks.
INSTALL SEAT
For bowls with seat, use seat
attachment hardware and
instructions packed with toilet
seat.
IMPORTANT CONSUMER INFORMATION

CARE AND CLEANING

When cleaning up after installation, do not use abrasive cleansers, as they
may scratch and dull the toilet surface. Use warm water and a liquid
detergent to clean the surface.
Remove stubborn stains, paint, or tar with turpentine or paint thinner. Do not
allow cleaners containing petroleum distillates to to remain in contact with
any toilet surface for long periods of time.
Remove plaster by carefully scraping with a wood edge. Do not use metal
scrapers, wire brushes, or other metal tools. Use a powder type detergent on
a damp cloth to provide mild abrasive action to any residual plaster.
Clean the outside surface of your vitreous china product with mild soap and
warm water. Wipe the entire surface completely dry with a clean, soft cloth.
If the surface of your vitreous china product becomes excessively dirty, you
can use a general purpose cleaner such as: FantastikR, LysolR Foaming
Disinfectant, Dow Bathroom Cleaner Liquid, Scrub FreeR Soap Scum
Remover, Soft ScrubR, Spic and Span, or Mr. CleanR.
