Mount the inserted tool for the intended application in the tool carrier. Only use accessories which are suitable for use with
impact tools when working with pneumatic tools.
Connect the tool to the pneumatic system using the hose with the internal diameter listed in the technical data table. Make sure
the hose has a durability of at least 1.38 MPa. (III)
Start the tool for a few seconds, making sure that there are no suspicious sounds or vibrations.
Installation of accessories
Loosen the guide retaining screws but do not remove them completely (IV).
Slide the guide into the mounting holes, adjust it to the desired height and lock it in place by tightening the screws (V). The bent
part of the guide should point towards the saw blade mount cover. Check that the mounting is correct; if the position of the guide
cannot be changed it means that the guide has been installed correctly.
Remove the screw of the saw blade mount cover completely, then open the blade cover (VI).
Loosen the saw blade retaining screws, but do not remove them completely (VII).
Slide the blade holder into the slot of the tool holder as far as it will go. The blade of the saw blade should point towards the saw
blade mount cover. Tighten the saw blade retaining screws (IX) as much as possible. If the saw blade cannot be removed from
the mount, it means that the installation was carried out correctly.
Close the cover and secure it by tightening the screw.
Starting and stopping the tool
Caution! Before starting the pneumatic tool, make sure that the mounted inserted tool does not come into contact with any object
or any body part.
The tool is operated by means of a lever which opens the air valve and thus ensures the supply of compressed air to the tool drive.
If the lever is equipped with a lock that prevents the lever from being accidentally pressed. Turn the lock, so that it is parallel to
the lever, and then pull the lever towards the tool housing. This will start the tool. Allow the tool to reach its rated speed and only
then start working.
The tool stops when the pressure on the lever is released. The lever automatically returns to the rest position and the lock secures
the lever. Please note that the inserted tool can still move for some time after. Do not put the tool away until the inserted tool has
come to a complete standstill.
Working with the jigsaw
Attach the workpiece to a workstation, e.g. by means of clamps, vices, etc. Never hold the workpiece only with hands or other body
parts. When cutting, support the material at the edges and near the cutting line. The support legs must be placed on both sides of
the cutting line so that the blade does not jam in the kerf when cutting. When cutting, the guide base must rest on the material to
be cut across its entire length. This will ensure the correct angle of saw blade inclination to the material to be cut.
When working, apply only such pressure on the tool which is required for the given task. Do not exert excessive pressure on the
workpiece, as this can lead to saw blade breaking and serious injuries. Attention should also be paid to any fragments that may
become detached during work. They must not be allowed to cause hazards in the workplace. When cutting, guide the jigsaw with
a smooth and continuous motion. Do not jerk or tilt the jigsaw sideways. This can lead to the saw blade breaking. The saw blade
attached to the product allows you to cut metal and plastics in a straight line and in an arc.
If you need to resume cutting, start the jigsaw fi rst, let the jigsaw reach its rated work speed, and then carefully insert the blade
into the kerf.
MAINTENANCE
Never use petrol, solvent, or any other fl ammable liquid to clean the tool. Vapours may ignite, causing the explosion of the tool
and serious injury.
The solvents used to clean the tool holder and the body may soften the seals. Thoroughly dry the tool before starting work.
If you notice any malfunction of the tool, immediately disconnect the tool from the pneumatic system.
All components of the pneumatic system shall be protected against contamination. Contaminants entering the pneumatic system
can damage the tool and other components of the pneumatic system.
Maintenance of the tool before each use
Disconnect the tool from the pneumatic system.
Before each use, introduce a small amount of preservative (e.g. WD-40) through the air inlet.
Connect the tool to the pneumatic system and run it for approx. 30 seconds. This will allow you to spread the preservative through
the inside of the tool and clean it.
Disconnect the tool from the compressed air system again.
Insert a small amount of SAE 10 oil into the tool via the air inlet opening and the holes designed for that purpose. The use of SAE
10 is recommended for the maintenance of pneumatic tools. Connect the tool and run it briefl y.
Caution! WD-40 cannot be used as a proper lubricating oil.
