BLEEDER
PROTECTOR
44
Instructions Manual
1.
Find the bleeder bolt that is located on the
brake calliper.
2.
Remove the rubber protector from the bleeder.
(Picture 72).
3.
Install the hose on the bleeder nipple, leaving
the other end immersed in the recipient,
containing a little of clean brake fluid. Besides
avoiding dirt, this will make it easier to see the
air bubbles leaving the hose. (Picture 73).
4.
Ask for another person to activate the pump
lever several times.
5.
Using an open or closed wrench, open the
bleeder. The air inside the system will be
expelled. Observe the formation of bubbles in
the fluid inside the recipient.
6.
Close the bleeder, remove the hose and replace
the rubber protector.
7.
Repeat this procedure on the other wheel.
The bleeding will be complete when there are not
bubbles in the fluid anymore. If necessary, repeat
D
this procedure until the formation of bubbles is
ceased.
B
After you finish bleeding the system on both wheels,
fill up with fluid by the orifice (D), existing in the
pump.
