9.0 SENSOR PROGRAMMING
9.1 FIRST SUPPLY
When first supplied, the sensor enters the initialization phase, which is
marked by a period during which the 3 display leds flash (for about 2
minutes), followed by a period during which they remain lit with a fixed
light (about 16 sec). The sensor does not operate during this period; it is
able to perform detection after the led goes OFF. Besides acquiring the
various environmental parameters, for the time the leds remain lit, the
sensor also acquires parameters relative to the antimasking function.
In order to prevent interference with the acquisition process, it is advisable
to remain at a distance of at least 1 meter from the sensor and be sure
that the cover's detector is inserted.
9.2 "TC" ENTRY
The TC command is generated by the antiburglary unit to inform the sensor
of system status (armed or disarmed).
When present (system disarmed), the TC command allows:
- the display of general alarm storage and masked zone (if enabled);
- the possibility of blocking the sensor relay, subjecting it to less wear
(see SW1 DIP 7).
In this condition, it is not possible to display the alarm events of each single
zone (microwave and/or) infrared) and/or general, even if all three leds
were enabled at switching ON (see SW2 DIP 5 and 6).
When not present (system armed), the TC command allows:
- the display of the alarm events of each single zone (microwave and/or
infrared) and/or general (if corresponding leds are enabled for operation
- see SW2 DIP 5 and 6);
- use of the Environmental Test function (with enabled leds).

9.2.1 "TC Present" Programming
It is possible to program (with SW1 DIP 8) the value of the voltage to be
applied to the TC terminal to define system status:
SW1 DIP 8 on ON :
(Factory programming)
The TC is present when a voltage of between 3.5
Vdc and 12 Vdc (positive supply)is present at the
sensor's TC terminal.
The TC is not present when a voltage of between
0 and 1.5 Vdc is present at the sensor's TC terminal,
or when the terminal is not connected.
SW1 DIP 8 on OFF: The TC is present when a voltage of between 0
and 1.5 Vdc is present at the sensor's TC terminal,
or when it is not connected. The TC is not present
when a voltage of between 3.5 and 12 Vdc (positi-
ve supply) is present at the sensor's TC terminal.
9.2.2 Relay Block Programming
SW1 DIP 7 on OFF:
the sensor's relay is blocked when the TC is
present
SW1 DIP 7 on ON :
the sensor's relay is not blocked when the TC is
present
* The TC must be used for the alarm storage function (general and/or
zone).
9.3 TEST ENTRY (TE)
This entry is dedicated to performing two different functions which cannot
be used at the same time; it is possible to obtain the Walk Test function
(coverage test) or them remote test function, understood as a functional
check of sensor efficiency.
In both cases, this entry must receive a command from the antiburglary
