Lower a load
Note
The single-acting jack is spring return. The return rate is affected by the hose length, volume
and other flow resistances in the line.
•
Lower a load with a motor pump
-
Operate the valve in the "lowering" direction. The pump can be in the "operation", "release" or
"off" position for this.
Note
Releasing the control handle means the end of the jack movement for both lifting and
lowering. This is irrespective of the pump status.

Lower a load with a hand pump

Gently set the pressure relief valve on the pump in the "neutral" position. The lowering rate can
be controlled by the degree of opening.

After use
6.4.1
Shut down and disconnect
•
Set the pressure relief valve on the pump in the "neutral" position.
•
Stop the pump.
•
Disconnect the hydraulic hose. Refer to chapter 5.3.
6.4.2
Inspection
•
Check the equipment for completeness, leaks and damage. Do not use the equipment if it is
incomplete, leaks or is damaged and contact the Holmatro dealer.
6.4.3
Cleaning and storage
•
Clean the tool and any accessories before storage.
•
Clean the couplers and dust caps. Make sure the dust caps are installed.
•
Dry the equipment if it has been used in wet conditions. For long-term storage, apply a thin coat of
preservative oil to the external steel parts.
•
Store the equipment in a dry and well-ventilated area.

Troubleshooting
7.1
General
Consult the Holmatro dealer if the listed solutions do not give the desired result, or in case of other
problems.
For malfunctions or repair, always specify the model and serial number of the equipment.
