LINEAR 3 MANUAL
2.2 DuoTilt™
The newly developed, integrated DuoTilt™
speaker stand mounting collar enables you to
make far more efficient use of sound energy.
Offering two different angles - 7.5° and 15°
- it lets you line up speakers so that they face the audience
rather than walls and cei-
lings. Troublesome ceiling
reverberations are minimi-
zed, and you end up with
a focused sound that is
clear and punchy.
Beyond that, the
DuoTilt™ stabilizes the
cabinet at its center of
gravity -
no wobbling, tilting, or
unintentional turning.
Your choice of DuoTilt™
angle – 7.5° or 15 ° -
depends on the required
speaker height and the
size of the room.
2.3 Sound Field Selector
As its name would indicate, the Sound Field
Selector lets you choose the sound field that
best suits the venue. This feature is available on
LR 112 and LR 115 full-range speakers.
Many cabinets sound good in larger halls but far too strident
at club gigs or in the rehearsal room. Conversely, the horns in
many cabinets are too weak to cover bigger venues. HK AUDIO
Linear 3™ Series offers the perfect solution to this problem.

Regular

The LightGuide™ Display indicates the position of the switch.
• When set to Close, the SIGNAL LED
in the LightGuide™ Display lights up
yellow.
• When set to Regular, the SIGNAL LED

The new Sound Field
Selector lets you pre-select
the right setting and adjust
the high frequency range to
suit the given room.
