3.2 LR 112 and LR 115 Cabs as satellites
in configurations with LR 118 Sub Bins
Powermixer
Power Amplifier
First connect the powered mixer's speaker output or the power
amp's speaker output to the LR 118 Sub subwoofer's input,
and then connect the subwoofer's SATELLITE OUT to the
LR 112 or LR 115 full-range cabinet's input (IN).
Important note:
An electrical connection between
the cord and input jack is not
established until the Speakon
connector locks into place. Twist
the Speakon connector clockwise
until it engages.
Note: The nominal impedance of systems consisting of a combination
of LR 118 Sub and LR 112 or LR 115 cabinets is 4 ohms!

3.3 LR 112 M and LR 115 M Monitors

Monitor Amp
Connect the monitor power amp's speaker output to the
LR 112 M or LR 115 M monitor's input (IN).
Depending on the type
of power amp or powered
mixer that you are using,
several LR 112 M or
LR 115 M monitors can
be connected in parallel
to one power amp
channel.

CLOSE
Monitor Amp
When two LR 112 M or LR 115 M monitors are connected in
parallel, total impedance is 4 ohms.
When three LR 112 M or LR 115 M monitors are connected in
parallel, total impedance is 2.7 ohms.
When four LR 112 M or LR 115 M monitors are connected in
parallel, total impedance is 2 ohms.
Important note:
An electrical connection between the cord and input jack is not esta-
blished until the Speakon connector locks into place. Twist the
Speakon connector clockwise until it engages.
Caution:
Total nominal impedance of the connected monitors is not allowed to
fall below the power amp channel's minimum impedance! If it does,
you risk destroying the power amp!

4. ALIGNING CABINETS

Proper alignment of full-range or mid/high-range cabinets is
decisive in shaping the sound, making the most of the sonic
energy, and reducing or avoiding reflections off ceilings
and walls.
4.1 Vertical alignment of LR 112 and LR 115
using the LightGuide™ Display
Turn the speakers slightly inwards. This minimizes, or possibly
even prevents, reflections from bouncing off the room's
side walls.
The LightGuide™ Display helps you
align the full-range speakers. If at the
far boundaries of the sound field (for
example, along the venue's side walls)
the SIGNAL LED lights up bright and
distinct, turn the speaker inwards a bit.
