• Check whether the details on the type plate agree with
your mains voltage before turning on the appliance.
• Children may not realise the danger that can be caused by
electrical appliances. For this reason, do not allow them to
be unattended in the vicinity of the electrical appliance.
• Never operate the appliance when the power supply
line or the plug is damaged.
• Never submerge the appliance in water.
• Take out the plug before filling the appliance with
water.
• Keep the electric cables away from liquids and direct
exposure to the weather (e.g. rain) and never operate
the appliance with wet hands.
• Take out the plug after every operation, when there are
disruptions to the functioning of the appliance and
before cleaning the appliance.
• Never pull the mains cable or the appliance when you
want to take out the plug.
• Never repair the appliance yourself. In the case of
damage, contact our service hotline immediately.
• Check that the electric cable is not in close proximity to
other sources of warmth (e.g. grill, hot plate). Hot surfaces
could damage the cable.
• Before every use of the appliance, check that the electric
cable is intact.
WARNING
Failure to observe the following instructions can lead to

• Do not transport the appliance with hot contents.
• Do not take the lid off whilst the appliance is turned on.
Only touch the handles of the appliance.
• Do not fill the appliance with cold water when it is still
hot, this leads to the formation of steam and possibly to
burns. Let the appliance cool before re-filling it.
• Fill the container only to the highest mark. When the
appliance is overfilled, hot liquid can spurt out.

ATTENTION

• Never put the appliance in the dishwasher. Always read
the chapter on cleaning before cleaning the appliance.

• Do not heat up milk and drinks containing milk or fizzy

Installation

4.1 Unpacking

We recommend that you keep the packaging for possible transport
purposes.
If you still want to dispose of the packaging, observe the local dispo-
sal regulations.
WARNING
An appliance that does not work properly can lead to
severe damages.
• Do not use a damaged appliance, but contact our service
hotline immediately.

NB
Compare the details in the chapter on "delivery" with the
component parts of the appliance. The appliance is
delivered in a ready-to-use condition and does not have
to be put together.

4.2 Assembly

WARNING
Failure to observe the following instructions for the assem-
bly of the appliance can lead to severe damages:
• Place the appliance only on a stable, fire resistant and
level surface, making sure that it is out of reach of
children.
• Never operate the machine if it is damaged in the power
supply cable or at the plug.
• Make sure that it is placed a minimum distance of 5cm
away from surrounding objects during operation.
