Alternate vertical test
Place the inclination spirit level on a hard surface, which is as
vertical as possible, with the module at the top and look at the
LCD. Switch the inclination gauge on using the Q button
and after 10 seconds note the value it displays. Turn the incli-
nation gauge around its own axis so that the module is still at
the top and the horizontal vial is touching the surface.
Wait 10 seconds and compare the two values.
If the difference between the two values is more than 0.1°,
then it must be vertically recalibrated.
Do not forget to regularly test the calibration of the inclination spirit level and see if it needs
recalibrating.
Recalibration
The procedure is similar to the calibration test. However, you must press the E button after
every position during the alternate test.
Horizontal recalibration
Place the inclination spirit level on a smooth surface which is as horizontal as possible.
Switch on the inclination gauge using the Q button and wait 10 seconds. Then press the
E button for 2 seconds. CAL 1 briefly appears in the display,
and the measured value then starts flashing.
Now turn the inclination spirit level around by 180° on the
same surface and wait another 10 seconds.
The press the E button again for 2 seconds. CAL 2 briefly
appears in the display.
The inclination gauge is now horizontally calibrated.
Please note: If you press the E button and the inclination
spirit level is not nearly horizontal or vertical, ––– appears in
the display and the calibration attempt is ignored.
